What is Microblading?
Microblading is done by using a very fine disposable blade to deposit nontoxic pigments into the epidermis, putting the finest hairs back into eyebrows. You will be left with amazing definition and the best dimension possible. I control the shape and symmetry of the brows to leave them looking better than ever before. This service suits people who ideally have the wrong brow shape, over plucked, loss of hair/patchy areas that won't grow back. Less painful and abrasive than tattooing. Think of it as a cosmetic procedure for the brow!
What to expect after your Micoblading session
There will be several phases during this healing process. The pigment will appear very sharp and dark immediately after the procedure. This is because the pigment is still sitting on top of skin, and has not yet settled in completely. Day 2 is sometimes hard, its normal. The color of the pigment will soften gradually. Once the healing of the skin starts to take place, it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. This might give you the impression that the color pigment is fading too quickly, however, usually this is superficial color and is just dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows. Once completely healed and aftercare is completed I advise applying a layer of sunscreen SPF30 up to SPF50 on your eyebrows when exposed to sun. Sun exposure might cause the color pigment to fade more quickly. If you start to scab do not pick at them. Scabbing is undesirable however just let them heal. Otherwise your healing time could be extended. The healing process varies and depends on your skin type.
Who is NOT ideal for this procedure?
Someone with large pores on their forehead.
Someone with very dark existing permanent makeup.
Someone with severely oily skin. (Pigment will look more solid than like hair strokes and may not last as long)
Someone who works out daily and sweats a lot.
Diabetes type 1 or 2 (Prone to slow healing and infection, color may or may not retain well)
Have Thyroid/graves disease (Medication may cause pigment to not retain properly)
Is it painful?
I use a topical anesthetic to numb the area before and during the procedure to ensure the client is comfortable.
